The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. There was a carpark closeby.
The carpets and furniture had stains on them. The ceiling and wall lights had only one working light. The bathroom sink was blocked, and though the hotel did send a man to repair this, it still was not flowing through well. The breakfast was okay and was served well, but I had vomiting and diarrhoea after which I suspect was undercooked sausages. I cut short our weekend and returned home on the second evening. I could not face another breakfast.

Excellent location in a quiet side street a few minutes walk from Marble Arch. Full English breakfast was superb. Very clean and comfortable, charming decor and friendly staff.

The hotel of choice in London. Fairly clean, quaint venue with accommodating staff from manager to waiters. Variety of brilliant food. Unbeatable location - a minute walk from a public sculpture. Set in a nice enough area not far from embassy.

You are warmly greeted as you walk through the front door with very helpful staff ,the hotel is very clean and tidy, I would recommend the hotel my only personal gripe would be how hot the hotel was( the weather was hot outside as well) although you can control the temperature of the room as it has aircon which was a god send, very handy for oxford street and hyde park, but getting around anywhere is easy even with the tube upgrades that are going on, 2 carparks in very close to the hotel

The 1 bed suite, although antiquated in style and decor, was spacious and ideal for a small family.

The hotel decor was fantastic. Our suite (we got upgraded) had wonderful amenities, such as oven, cooktop, fridge. The bathrooms are huge by UK hotel standards and very nice.
Free wifi would be nice, but I realize this is not as standard in europe as in the US.

Perfect for a Solo Traveler
One of the standout moments was the staff. They were really nice! I returned from a long day. And found a clean, cozy room waiting for me with two bottles of water just sitting there inviting me.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know. It was worth it.

Old style hotel (Edwardian style decor) but with the all modern amenities. Not exactly cheap, but by London prices, good value.
